Strength &
Conditioning

This is a strength and fitness programme, learn to squat, deadlift, press and pull efficiently with correct technique and good form. We focus on movement quality to improve performance, this can be in any given sport focusing on speed, strength, and power. Equally, it could be improving performance in real-life scenarios, such as lifting heavy, carrying objects or being able to play games/run around with your children or grandchildren. Classes are fun and varied and challenging. Suitable for those who have some experience of training in a gym.

Game

Fit

Become the fittest version of yourself. This class will include, a wide variety of high intensity fitness programmes, using functional movements which can be carried over into every day life. This class can be adapted for all levels of fitness and can be used to accomplish any goal, from weight loss to improved sport and training performance. You can expect movements such as, burpees, wall balls, box jumps, thrusters, dumbbell or barbell cleans and snatches, kettebell swings etc.

Engine Fitness Class Assault Bike

Engine Fit

This class will focus on building a strong aerobic system and improving your aerobic capacity. The workouts will be longer than your typical Game Fit class but not as intense, allowing you to go for longer whilst still getting a good sweat on. The Engine class will utilise the rowers, bikes, ski ergs and runners. There may be the occasional bit of running outside too. This class is aimed at all fitness levels and can be used in a number of different scenarios. To improve your efficiency and overall fitness, for active recovery, to get some lower impact cardio in or simply to burn some calories! This type of class would be ideal for those endurance athletes out there or anyone looking to get into longer events.

Foundations 

Keeping fitness simple for beginners. This class will suit those who are new to exercise, want to work on technique, want to improve strength, stability, mobility, fitness and want to meet new people of a similar ability. We will include exercises that focus on upper body pushing and pulling, lower body squatting and hinging. By incorporating these exercises into a workout, you will improve your overall fitness and functionality.

Preparing the barbell

Barbell Only 

Strength and technique class, focusing on improving the snatch, clean and jerk and other weightlifting related exercises. Only suitable for those who have some experience in Olympic lifting.
